-The main idea of the game was to build simple virtual galleries. But it got turned into a full “high level” level editor.
*Basics
-Json File = map file with no content. (only online urls supported)
-Zip File = a collection of map files and media
*Level Editing
-Press V to enable fly mode.
-Press H to toggle xray modes.
-Press Shift to edit the entity.
-Sometimes there are obscure but useful short cuts, such as holding X to vertex snap. OR pressing F to align with view.
*Tools
-When you open the wheel menu in the game, each thing will have: a main description + helpful hints.
*Wiring Tool
-The wiring tool can make simple events happen in your map.
-Note: This only supports very simple story-related scripted events, dont expect to do complex logic with this.
*Tips
-Keep multiple backups of your projects
-Keep your maps simple, try seperating scenerios/scenes into multiple maps to make management easier.
*Safety
-general internet safety applies
-Never click on any files that arent a: png, jpg, gif, webm, mkv, mp4, mp3, wav, ogg
-If you feel unsure about a map someone has shared, feel free to take a look at its files or run them through a file checker.
